Do you think Bobbie Flay gets as crazed when someone says "barbeque" when they're talking about grilling?

Serious BBQ people do go crazy over it.  However, it doesn't matter to me what other groups think.  There is a difference between clips and magazines, and in some cases it is important to realize that - AR's use both!

And, it's entirely possible to barbecue with a grill.

It is not possible to substitute a clip for a magazine (or vice versa).

It doesn't matter to me which, but using both is a sign of either an idiot or an anti .

Most fields have their own vocabulary.  

Those well versed in the field know and use the correct terms.  

Those who don't use the correct terminology show their ignorance, at best, or, if they do know the correct terms but either don't remember or don't care, show more serious faults.

Oh, btw, barbecue is an old native american Indian word that means, "Drunk in the back yard, by a big fire."  (Sorry, I don't speak "PC")
