Title: Ammo Availability
Post by: alfsauve on June 07, 2013, 09:03:11 AM
Notice some things are starting to make it through the supply chain.   One store has .22LR CCI Mini-Mags.  They are limiting it to 500 per person per day.   I only shoot standard vel, gut it's nice to know some stuff is making it through.

For reloaders (me) bullets are starting to appear.  I got in the last week:

1,000 rounds of 125gr .357  HSM plated from Mountain Sports
1,000 rounds of 158gr .357 Berry plated
1,000 rounds of 200gr .45 X-treme plated

I prefer hollow point because of the slightly long ogive, but I'll take flat point or round nose at this point.

Some web site are frustrating in that they don't tell you they're out of stock until you try to put the item in your basket.

What I need before 7/13 (big GSSF match) is 124gr 9mm.   Load ammo is available but bullets are scarce.

I am seeing the same thing as well.  Local sporting goods store actually had .22 in stock but was limiting to four 50 boxes.  It was cheap Remington Lightning but I bought it anyway to give to my kids for plinking so they don't raid my stash of the good stuff.  They even had an OK supply of mainstream centerfire pistol calibers.  It sure seems like the end of the tunnel, until the next fabricated crises...
