" Nothing like this ever occurred, and no one believed it was possible, even theoretically. It just could not happen, but still, here it is."
Didn't this happen every fifteen minutes to the Liberty Ships during World War II? I thought they had a similar defect that was fixed by welding 4 thick steel straps along the sides. We were building the things faster than Hitler could sink them. Something like 7 days from setting the keel to launch.

I blame Ziva. ;D

I'll spank her for you. ;)
Some of the comments at that link are from Bizarro World.

Well done Mossad.
Bill, for a Liberty ship it was 24 hours , keel to launch, it was the escort carriers that took a week each.
Kaiser had one of each timed for PR.
BUT, that was with all components pre positioned before the clock started, and a picked work crew.

Still thats amazing, just think of all the planing and fore thought.

And it had to scare the crap out of everyone in Germany not named Adolf. I mean you can see Doenitz saying "Screw it, what's the point of sending out my boats_ and just opening the schnapps.

The pre war German Navy had a goal of 300 U Boats, they never came anywhere close.
They built more than that , but they never had more than 150 -200 serviceable at any one time.
There were never more than a couple dozen boats in the Atlantic at one time, usually less.

Really? Just like wannabe Kim Jong Un running his mouth a month ago,.....yet how many U.S subs were off the coast waiting to see how far it would go?
Hmmm,.......
FTA:
‘MOL Comfort sank due to yet unclear reasons,
Uh,....methinks either an Israeili sub, or a cocky American sub commnander contributued to the unfortunate structural failure of this vessal.
::)

I guarantee you it was not a "cocky American sub commander" since these are part of Obama's gift to his terrorist friends.

Looks and sounds like a sabotage job, not a massive blast from a torpedo.
Well placed charges along a hull seam or flex point and that fairly clean looking separation could be obtained.
Looks like this might have minimized deaths or injuries and appears to have sent a stunning message to the shipping industry.
It sure stopped this shipment without generating a lot of Anti-Anyone sentiment.
I hope it was insured so we get our investment back ;D

I read that it was a fake picture on one of the blogs. But not sure :o

I'm wondering that myself. I base that on the fact this wasn't picked up by any of the major networks. "Before It's News" sometimes goes way out there.
