I was on ebay buying a spyderco knife sharpener (cheap at $53 shipped) and I remembered a guy on another board mentioning that in his local thrift shop they were selling used underwear. I'm thinking "Do people really buy used underwear"? If they do it will be on ebay so I type it in. Damned if they don't. But worse than that, the first ad that pops up is this, (only seven bucks buy it now price). Despite needing eye bleach (I used TABS avatar), I'm actually glad I saw it. Why? Because the next time a crooked pol gets busted, which is a monthly occurence down here, I can send them a pair of these for their stay in the big house. ;D

I remember back when Bill Clinton was running for Pres. for the first time, someone leaked a portion of one of his tax returns.
It was the charitable donations claims.
One of the categories they claimed for deductions was gifts of clothes to charities and some of the items listed where underwear. I guess they might have gone out and bought brand new stuff to donate, but that wasn't my take at the time.
Found it documented =)
Clothes, household goods.
Former president Bill Clinton once made public a tax return on which he deducted $2 apiece for donated underwear. In a mandatory financial disclosure
Have to scroll down a bit to find it, but it is right under the Clothes, household good heading...if interested ;D
