Most of it is just smoke blowin'......... but all it takes is one or two people being serious to spoil a day.

As the murder trial of George Zimmerman marches on, supporters of slain teen Trayvon Martin are vowing to carry out disturbing and deadly acts of violence if Zimmerman is not found guilty.
Twitter has been buzzing with death threats against Zimmerman (and random white people…and for the truly ambitious, an “hispanic/white” person) if the verdict isn’t guilty as charged in the murder trial in which Zimmerman is pleading self-defense in his fatal shooting of Martin.

Also turns it into a "trial by public opinion".....trying to scare the jury into a guilty verdict out of fear for the public's safety.

he should have never been charged to start out with. The grand jury recomend no charges, but the proscuter that was appointed for just this case disagrees. its all political, if trevon had been any other race then black, this would have never been heard of again.

I wouldn't be surprised if BHO magically granted Holder the title of "El Judge-o Supremo" with the ability to override any jury decision. Reversing Zimmerman's acquittal would be his first act.
Regardless, I'm keeping my powder dry.

Well, look at it this way, if they do riot in my neighborhood they'll get lots of valuable stuff for free. I mean seriously, have you shopped for ammo recently? A couple of mags worth of Hornady TAP hollow points are a lot more expensive than a cell phone. I'd say its a win win.

Well at least we learned one thing from this trial. If someone calls you a "creepy ass cracker" is not an insult or anything. ::)
But seriously, I find this all very disturbing. It's so obvious that there are people in power that are doing everything they can do agitate a minority population. Racism is alive and well today and for the most part the targeted group doesn't even know it.

The 1st Amndment is not there to protect what people want to hear, it's there to protect what they want to say.
"Creepy ass cracker" is no more racist than "Nigger", it's simply a descriptive term protected by our freedom of speech.

I told my daughters just last week that if they hear that Zimmerman has been acquitted, to get to a predetermined safe place IMMEDIATELY and stay there -- armed. My oldest often works her marketing job in rough parts of various cities, including Birmingham, Atlanta and even Houston. My youngest daughter's apartment is on the fringe of USM in Hattiesburg, butted up against another rough area. The racial divide promoted by the collectivists has become so poisonous that it is easy to see an LA riots outcome happening in this case -- all over the country. In any case, opportunistic criminals of every sort would seize on such a chance to commit their own favorite felony specialties in an atmosphere where the cops disappear and apprehension is highly unlikely.

We ARE the militia. I'm not going to pull a Zimmerman and go looking for trouble, but come into my 'hood, Ima gonna make you wish you'd stayed home and written an angry letter to the editor or just vented on the net instead. Tru dat.

Mine's hiding under my feet right now, freaked out by the thunderstorm outside. Weirdest thing, the shotgun doesn't bother her, but thunder freaks her out. So unless the rioters come smelling like bacon, I'll rely on the AR and riot gun instead. She does bark pretty convincingly though. ;D

I have 6 de :) i figure between the m1c m1g, the 1187 tactical with speed loaders... I would not want to be the 1st few hundred guys thru the door.

No way I am seeking trouble.
However, if trouble comes seeking me, I will do my very best to ensure it doesn't trouble anybody else down the road.
And, I have several of my reasonably like-minded and well armed friends and neighbors on speed-dial. I'm fairly sure the Quaker has his "6" covered, too.
It could give me the opportunity to try out the Remington 870 I just picked up. Got several boxes of buck and ball to go with it plus some straight buck and a few boxes of slugs.

Jeebus! Has it come to this? We're begging folks not to riot (and so much for an impartial jury, gee, no pressure there), but we are actually appeasing these people? How about "Riot and get shot or go to prison"? I guess that's un PC, and that friends is our fault. We have let it get here.
