Title: Interesting Peoples names
Post by: MinotBob on May 19, 2008, 11:10:18 PM: I started a thread like this on another forum and the responses are hilarious. Have you met people in you lifes travels that have unusual names?

My sister had a girlfriend in MT growing up whose name was Naturally Panting.

Penny Nickel, and on the less family oriented there are Harry Dick and Rosie Dick;

On the more famous side, Loren Green owns a business in town, Chuck Connors works on a road crew, Peter Falk used to run a gas station, and my grandfather was Willie Nelson (my mom wanted to name me William, but dad didn't want me called "Little Willie").

And for nick names there were the funeral directors in the next town over, Phil Anderson and Bill Schmidt, or as they were "lovingly" called - Fill em and Bill em.

The best one I remember had the name of Jimmie Head. Of course, we called him Gimme.

Ironically enough, in a thread about names, my nickname at one time in my life was also Minot Bob. Guess where I was stationed?
