Title: For my Rain-soaked Southeastern Friends..
Post by: PegLeg45 on July 10, 2013, 12:58:37 PM
In the last two weeks, we've had one twenty-four hour period with no rainfall.

I'm not complaining, we were in a drought from last year....and we need to replenish the water tables.....but getting it all built back up in the month of June alone (and July looking to be even wetter)........

Just substitute "Georgia" for "Texas" in the following...........

I hear ya' Peg, what's left of Trop. Storm Chantal, and what we've already had dumped on us here in the swamps of S. Florida, it is just going to be another rain maker for the rest of the week. But it is the "rainy season" down here.

Glad the water tables are getting re-stocked up your way. We just have monsoon season.. :P And "skeeter season

the West Coast of Florida has been getting torrential downpours.... frog stranglers... I just replaced the windshield wipers with the RainX top of the line units.... frameless... it may not be the best $40 I've ever spent, but it's right up there...

I'd have to second that comment from my two years living on the Eel River south of Eureka!  The weather was never a problem, it was the earthquakes that were the concern.  That far north they don't do much damage though!
