Has anyone looked into it? What are your thoughts?
-
I don't quite understand your question. Are you asking if it's safe to carry? Are you thinking about carrying your weapon in a safe?
-
Maybe the OP is talking about this:

Looks like defense attorney coverage if you are involved in self defense incident?

If that is what is being asked, these guys are in that arena also:
Armed Citizens' Legal Defense Network, Inc.

just my $.02 most of the networks/insurances/funds are not very good. Find a good lawyer( does not really matter what kind they are) give them some cash. That way they can come and tell you too shut up / bail you out. ( note i said good lawyer)

A link to what ever it is would have been nice :D

I went to the website and the first thing I thought was if I was ever involved in a lethal force incident and had this coverage would I be portrayed as someone who was looking for a confrontation? I can see the prosecutor grilling me why I thought I needed it; look what happened to Zimmerman. If he had the coverage it would have saved him a few $$$ but would having it make him look like he had a CCW, had a gun and money to get him out of trouble.
Bottom line is I have mixed feeling but lean towards not getting it. If having this coverage was not admissible in court then I may lean the other way.

In general, I think it's a good idea to have this type of protection. This specific plan offers nation-wide complete coverage with no caps or limitations for 27 cents a day. Peace of mind with one phone call. They provide an interesting comparison chart that includes some of the "big name" plans that I've seen advertised elsewhere. As with all products, consumer research is important especially when your freedom is at stake.
