After lunch in another town today, the Boss Lady decided she needed some retail therapy to look for female-retail-therapy-type merchandise. Of course, I took that opportunity to visit a corporate-owned sporting goods store that is located in the same mall.
I had NO intention of buying anything.......until I saw the Moisin in the case. They had a half dozen "well-used" ones, and one that not only appeared to never have been issued, but even had matching serial numbers on all the parts. Long story short, the nice one followed me home.
Judging from the facial expression, Miss Kathy is as happy with my purchase as I am. ;D

One more thing: As I was filling out the NICS form, she called me to come pick her up. When I told her that it would be a while, and why, her response was, "Cool!! What did you buy?" And when I told her, she said, "GREAT!! I know you've wanted one of those for years!!"
Yup......she's a keeper. ;D
