Title: Ammo availability...
Post by: ellis4538 on September 07, 2013, 05:33:13 PM
Went to a local GS today and there was ammo all over the place.....even .22!!!!!!  Been a while since I have seen so much and without limit it seems.  Still a bit on the expensive side, but a bunch of it out there.

.22lr is still rarer than an honest politician here in NW Iowa.  At least as of 2 days ago.

We still have nothing here...

I'm renewing my license anyway, can't carry, can only shoot with my kid or her fella since I'm not "legal" at the moment.

Wally World was an empty case this afternoon when I picked up some oil for the horse and buggy!

FYI.....Gander Mountain is advertising 550 rds. of Remington .22 Ammo for just under $20.  Sat. only special.  No limit mentioned or how many to sell per store.

I wouldn't buy Rem green and gold on a dare. Took some to an Appleseed shoot, and had 3-5 misfires per 50-round box.

Sportsman's Warehouse here in KY has started putting the pistol calibers on the open shelves again instead of behind the counter at Customer Service. Not a lot, nothing in bulk, but some there.
