What do YOU think the catalyst will be for the upcoming major change in our government? Not many believe our government is going to continue to operate with "their hands tied" as they have been. Even Forest Gump can see "the change" isn't far in the future.
It's easy to imagine our next president elect Hillary (most probable reality) will be ushering in the new constitution on her inauguration day.
Something VERY much like.
"We, the multinational people of the ********* Federation, united by a common fate on our land, establishing human rights and freedoms, civic peace and accord, preserving the historically established state unity, proceeding from the universally recognized principles of equality and self-determination of peoples, revering the memory of ancestors who have conveyed to us the love for the Fatherland, belief in the good and justice, reviving the sovereign statehood of ********** and asserting the firmness of its democratic basic, striving to ensure the well-being and prosperity of *********, proceeding from the responsibility for our Fatherland before the present and future generations, recognizing ourselves as part of the world community, adopt the CONSTITUTION OF THE ********** FEDERATION."
Take no offense to the plagiarism Mr. Putin (I only removed the word "Russia" from their current constitution).
What do you see as the catalyst? Terrorist attack, economic failure, attempted revolution, states seceding?

Hillary will not be Pres, for the same reason Sarah Palin never will be.
Her opponents have already had years to zero in on her faults .
On top of that, the last time she tried she basically spent 16 years campaigning and still got blown away by a half term Senator no one ever heard of .
She may run, but the DNC doesn't give losers a 2nd chance.
That being said, my money is on economic collapse.
The whole financial system is just smoke and mirrors backed by nothing.
The first time some one sees a dollar on the ground and ignores it the whole world is screwed.

I'm going to steal that, ok?

I'm going to steal that, ok?
Being quoted is an honor.
Unless it's in court . ;D
It's a bit of an exaggeration, but since the only thing keeping the system going is the misplaced faith that there is actually some foundation to it means that when people start losing that faith the system is doomed to collapse.

...the only thing keeping the system going is the misplaced faith that there is actually some foundation to it...
Currency by fiat (no, not the car company) is not backed by anything of actual value (remember the gold standard? or when we carried silver certificates? or when our coins were silver, not base metal?).
Money by fiat (our form of currency) only has value as long as the government says it has value.
When faith in that government is destroyed, the assumed value of the currency is similarly destroyed.
So, I would ask any of you: Do you have any faith in our government?
Now, if you are reading this, you are probably smarter than the average sheeple.
But how long do you think the government can maintain the pretense and continue to fool the"stupid" folk?
I think Tom is right about our ending, too. America's death knell has already been sounded and it is economic in nature--not an armed rebellion or foreign invasion (although that may well come).
I weep for my country.

Putin has been telling the world what CR posted since Obama was elected.

So the woman can't sing!! What's the big deal?!

So the woman can't sing!! What's the big deal?!
I never said their faults were any where NEAR similar .
Palin might not be able to sing, but no one suspects her of having Vince Foster whacked.
-
Hillary doesn't "sing" either if she can avoid it with medical problems and a resignation.
