I went to a Panera Bread in Southern California today for some chocolate croissant and a coffee. They have free Wi-Fi access so I tried to go to the Shooting Galley site. This is what I got:

My work had it banned too. Reason I don't post as often as I did before. I don't know why it wont let me come here, it will let me go to rugerforum.com and other gun sites.

The companies probably subscribe to services that filter sites based on their category. For example, I have access to webmail through outdoors.net, but my company has a policy - and therefore a filter in place - that blocks any site categorized as "email".
I would file a claim with SonicWall to find out why it wasblocked, and I would also talk with the manager at the Panera. It may be a corporate thing to ban gun sites.
BTW, did you try other sites, like Greshams or AR.com to see if they were blocked too? Sometimes, the site is mis-categorized.
PS: free wi-fi is provided as a service from a private company, and they can block whatever the heck they want to. Would you want to be sitting there enjoying your corn chowder with your child while the guy next to you was surfing porn sites? If they won't provide access to something that is innocuous like DRTV, then vote with your feet - and wallet - and do let them know why!

As I recall Symantec, which makes Norton AV, firewalls, etc...may be anti-gun. Anyway, I remember hearing that there software did at one time default to removing anything they had tagged as "gun". At my former company, they used a firewall software that did ban the good sites...but I was in tight with the IT guys and had the anti-gun bias pulled down.
It may be the company you are doing business with or they may not know this is happening because of software they may be running.
Does anyone know a good site that lists anti-gun supporters?

My company (a bank) has taken a fairly restricitve stance on internet usage by employees during the work day. Therefore measures such as content blocking, time limits, etc., have been put in place. I and several other friends/co-workers(99% of them pro-gun) make a lot of the decisions on what to block and why to block it. Other than blatently offensive sites(ie, porn), any site that truly detracts from the workday(gambling, chat rooms, etc.), many other sites are blocked because of the backdoor security risks they pose to the banks own network.
Unfortunately, anything that allows positng to a discussion thread, blogs, and the like fall into that category. Internet security is a real pain in the BUTT.
(BTW... DownrageTV is accessible, just not the forum.)
