m if you only went to the hardware store once, you didn't do it right" can I get a amen?

That's the way it is for me..

AMEN!
Plus I've figured the further away the project is from where you store the tools, the more trips you'll have to make to get the right tool.

You have to think outside the box.
I load everything I need into a pickup truck pulling a trailer and do the project in the hardware store parking lot....saves a lot of time. ;D ;D

Quick story: At Area 3 USPSA Championships this year (my first area match) I was loading my mags on the way to the first day of the match. The bullets wouldn't fit. Turns out my seating die had backed itself out somewhere between rounds 10 and 700. So I had A LOT of ammo that was too long. After an unsuccessful trip to Wally World, I found myself at Cabela's buying a Lock N Load press and reseating my ammo in the parking lot. Not an easy thing to do with the press not bolted down. I got a few laughs as people walked by, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
