To promote thier own feelings and beliefs. yeah, we get it, you don't like something, how about actually getting off your ass, rolling up your sleaves and working too actually prove your point. Not just re hashing bull shit.

no, in this case it was a peta artical that ticked me off. Yeah i know its peta, out of the 6 refrences they used, 4 were thier own bs, one was a book from 1963 and the other was a editorial form 2008( with no facts in it). It just really ticks me off.

Its one of the few things I like about academia. People don't just read your article, they check your sources. You pull that sort of crap and you get blackballed.

That is how liberals work .
They assume every one will just take their word on their made up facts.
Remember that guy Belleisle that wrote a book claiming guns were rare in early America ?
He got awards for it then had them taken away when some one tracked down his references.
Turned out he made up quotes and attributed them to real documents.

Not just liberals Tom! Stupidity runs rampent throughout our society.

THats what i was going to say, its not just a liberal thing. whats funny is when they take one line out of dozen of pages that fits thier bs, even if the rest of the artical goes agaisnt it. Take the statement " ...22 lr kills more people in US then any other chambering, that fact by no means makes it the best choice for self defense..." in a artical on selecting a sd weapon. Even one that trys to steer you away from a 22 as 1st choice.
