Got myself a new S&W the other week and sent away to all places Thailand for a new set of grips.
Well they came today so I fitted them and I think they look pretty good.
Especially when you consider they cost a huge $38.00 (inc post).
I did have to slightly fit them as they was just a tad too tight, was a 5 sec job with my pocket knife.
so what you reckon?

Nice grips Sledge.

Nice!!!
I just picked up a 1966 Colt Agent that could use a new grip (one-piece).
Do you have a link to where you bought them?

Sweet looking gun Sledge.

Very nice. As an owner of S&W, of course I applaud your choice of guns.

Thanks alf
I have ordered a wolff spring package for it, the single action trigger is nice and breaks well but the double action is rather strong, so it should make the trigger a lot more enjoyable.

Beautiful! It's amazing what a good set of wood grips can do for a gun. I picked up a S&W 13-2 polished nickel 4" for a song at work and it had Pachmyers on it. A few months later someone sold us another K frame gun with Pachmyers on it (I think I'm the only person in Ohio that cant stand Pachmyer grips!) and the original wood grips in the box. Picked up the wood grips as soon as I saw them and now they live on my 13 and it is glorious!

Took it for a shot the other day, used some 38spl rounds first up and shot/grouped slightly to the left, changed over to some highland factory fmj's and didnt like them at all, pattern opened up considerably.
Will get on the press this week and work up some loads for it.
Grips was comfortable to use and handled the recoil in full loads well.
Its nice to have another 357 for plinking with.
