Micheal, Ive asked this question before on a couple different forums and yet to get any real answers. I'm looking for anyone with any experience with the ammo mentioned in the title, with your vast experience have you ever tried it? ???

185 gr p+ in what? 9 mm, 38spl...? bb makes top notch ammo, they test in real guns, not test barrels. thier numbers are dead on or slightly under valued.( atleast thats my exp) they use extensive testing and propriatary powder blends to get their numbers yet still keep persures safe.

Thanks Tab,finally some info that I can use.I bought 2 boxes of 20 and seriously thinking of using it for my carry ammo in both my Glock 36 and my Ruger SR 45.

Only 2 boxes?

Just an update, the BB shot great, every shot went where I wanted it to and recoil wasn't bad at all,as a matter of fact it seemed to me that the recoil was less than 230 gr ball ammo.
Same day I took my new Smith and Wesson M&P 15 sport.I shot both .223 and 5.56 nato, now I don'nt know if it's my imagination or not but the 5.56 nato seemed to shoot softer than the .223,I dunno but the rifle shot great. What took some time was learning to field strip and clean it the first time, actually it was fairly easy and will be easier the second time around.

Don't know about the 45 loads, but I have shot some of the 158 gr LSWC 38 special. Whooeee. Very hot out of a 442! Chronoed at 850 fps just like advertised. 300 grain heavy 44 will also really let you know you are touching one off. I wouldn't recommend either for plinking, but for defense I'd say they should work well.

Mostly, the smaller weight bullet will induce less felt recoil....even with hotter powders...... allowing that felt recoil is subjective, of course.

Agree.
I find my full house 300gr JHP 44 loads way more uncomfortable to shoot than Hornady Factory S&W460 loads and even my full house 400gr FMJ's developing nearly 2900 ft/lbs at the muzzle.
