My new toy finally arrived! M&P45c, no thumb safety. Now to find a good concealment holster. I'm thinking crossbreed but I haven't decided yet.

COol.   I just ordered a Shield and as soon as I get the cash from the G23 I'll be purchasing a M&P 9.

My Crossbreed just came in while I was out of town so I haven't gotten a chance to wear it yet.  However, I have been using the Galco King-Tuk IWB.  It is very close in price to Crossbreed ($60 at Cabela's) but there was a 1-1.5 month wait for Crossbreeds and I wanted to have something in the meantime.  The downside is that it doesn't work with my Crimson Trace, but the upside is that it fits my full size XDm .40 cal as well as my XDm compact in 9mm.  Either way, it is very comfortable and feels like it is made out of very sturdy leather.  Plus you can go to Cabela's (if you are lucky enough to be near one) and buy it off the shelf.  My $0.02.

Lucky me, One Cabela's opens next week 60 mi. north of me and one opens 60mi. south next year. I know 60 mi. seems like a long ways but hay, this is Montana.

Not that long, I have a Cabela's that is 34 miles away in IL, and one that is 78 miles away in WI.  I almost always prefer to go to the WI one (it's only 15 mins further away) because it's bigger and I don't have to go through the People's Republic of Illinois and the drive is much easier.  Hell, in Montana, a 60 mile drive only takes what, 45 mins?  ;D

Going to try to put the first rounds through it on my lunch break on Thursday, or Friday morning when I re-zero my 10/22.

So?   How was it?

Got the Shield on Monday, but haven't had chance to shoot it.  The local store is having S&W days in a week and there will be discounts, so I'm going to wait and get an M&P 9, possibly a CORE, next weekend.

Bologna sandwich, pretzels, string cheese, and 24 rounds of .45ACP makes for a right and proper lunch break! It shoots great and I can deal with the trigger for now, but the sights have to go ASAP. I think after I find a good holster I will put some Trijicons on it.
