what do you do with your guns? Sell them? Give them away? Pass them to the next generation? all of the above?
-
Since a good portion of my collection has been inherited from my Dad and Grandfather it's a no brainier to pass them on to my kids. Heck, they already have dibs on what they want!
-
My daughter gets them! She's a better shot anyway...

Hi;
tis already in my will, that they (guns) become family property and I designated a grandnephew to be the custodian. When family needs a weapon - they get to "borrow" and must return for others to use.
some of what i have is "fancy"...Most are for the common man for many useages. I pray that future generations know the values of posession.

I don't have one family member who even approaches the kind of appreciation for firearms or RKBA that I would need to see before I passed them on to someone within that circle.
If I knew someone who would keep it for the intended use that the 2A envisions, regardless of poverty level, I'd be more pat to pass something along to that guy.. If not that, probably donate them to GOA or maybe NRA..
-
I would give my mom back her shotgun if she wanted it then I think I would sell everything except one pistol or else leave them all to the NRA since I have no heirs.
-
Wife and/or brother get them all with instructions not to sell. Pretty easy decision.

What he said.

When my wife passed, I gave hers to the kids. They were all promptly sold.. Won't be doing that again.. :(

If I only have a month to live, guns are going to be a low rung in the importance ladder.
Besides, the closer I get to doomsday the more the throats are going to be shot out.
Piles of empty brass will be free for the taking. 8)

Use them?

I'm sure my child(ren) and siblings would all find new guns in their possession . . . shortly after I'm involved in that tragic boating accident.

To my grandson. Letter written going along with the will explaining when he can legally have what.(as the laws stand today)

My sister.
