I don't know how we could've done it but I think "we" have to own part of this..
The culture used to be "us". We continued to live our lives the way we believed life oughta be lived, and just looked at "those guys" like they were kinda weird.
Again, I don't really know how we could've headed it off, (okay, well, I do, but..) but I think we have cop to have once owned the culture that we lost.

We dropped the ball in the classroom. We let socialists rock the cradle and now we've got to fight them (all) to save it.
And I think we're gonna lose in the end...

I don't like saying it anymore than you like hearing it, but that's what I think.

I disagree, they are there own worst enemy.  The leftist/socialist mindset is a very negative and self destructive mindset.  The real fight is not let them take the rest of the country with them.  Think about this, in the 70's no one could have imagined the Soviet Union was just a decade away from self destruction.  Never Surrender.
