And of course the Starbucks CEO will miss the irony also......

Armed Robber Ignores Starbucks CEO’s Memo Against Guns in His Stores
In September of this year the Starbucks CEO sent out a memo asking all gun owners to leave their guns at home. The company originally just followed all local laws relating to guns and had no problem allowing gun owners to legally carry their firearms into Starbucks locations throughout the US.
The memo said, “I am writing today with a respectful request that customers no longer bring firearms into our stores or outdoor seating areas.”
Well it looks like a Colorado Springs criminal is ignoring that memo. KKTV.com has reported that an armed robber entered a Starbucks pointing a gun at the employee behind the cash register demanding money. The Starbucks employee gave the gunman the money and the crook ran out of the establishment that so politely asked law abiding gun owners to no bring guns to their stores.
It’s no surprise that a criminal ignored the store policy since he already ignored the law to rob the Starbucks.
But it looks like Starbucks wants to make sure criminals don’t have to worry about being harmed when using their own guns to carry out their robberies.

Clearly, the sign prohibiting firearms was not in a place visible to anyone contemplating robbing the store with a gun. If they made the sign large enough with bold and bright letters that tragedy could have been averted. Hopefully the robber will sue if he gets caught; clearly Starbucks was creating a hostile environment for the criminal and they did not spell out his work rules in a manner that was easily understood in regards to using a firearm at his "job."

Every time i have ever been in a starbucks( about 10 times, mainly for wifi) i have never seen anyone pay in cash. Why on earth would you rob them? I mean no money, every one has a electronic device in their hand with a camera on it... Not a smart palce to rob

You mean the police and army have been doing it wrong all these years?
When they encounter an armed criminal or enemy force, they should show them that they are unarmed and the bad guys will surrender and the enemy force will turn around and go home?
Dianne, how about we let your bodyguards prove this theory for you?

Didn't work to well for the French in WWII?

Recently the French have raised the country's alert level to HIDE, one step above the lowest level, RUN and coming before the two higher levels, SURRENDER and COLLABORATE.
