Title: M&P Shields? Feedback

Has anyone shot the shield in .40 as opposed to 9mm? How does the recoil affect the light weight gun? Is it substantially more pronounce versus the 9? Or is it relatively controllable?

I shot both the 9MM and the 40S&W side by side last year. The difference in shoot ability was small. I have chosen to go with the 9mm with one more round and what i believe the ability for me to put more rounds on target as quickly as possible. Just my 2 cents but I hope it helps. Merry Christmas ;D
