Congrats, nice choices!  How long was the wait? Did you use a Trust?  Did you apply online or using paper?

Awesome!  Hopefully BHO's Executive order regarding trusts will not go through and force everyone who used a trust to have to go through the finger printing and getting a CLEO sign off.
I got a Ti-Rant for my 9mm an was able to use it at the range where I bought it and was very impressed.  Had to give it back when I was done, but was glad I could use it.  Hope your experience is just as positive.  Most importantly, it is good that you went through the process, if people do not exercise their right to get NFA items then it will not be a big deal to take that away from the law abiding gun owners.

I run nearly the same set up. HK USP with a Gemtech Blackside. I just stuff a little vaseline inside the baffles and it is super quiet. The only thing that I don't like is that the suppressor is large enough that the top of my sights are even with it. Of course I use a TLR-2 on the rail so aiming is not an issue. (Yes I built a mini version of a Mark 23 Mod 0)

So a day late...  I fired 3 boxs down range.    the 1st couple mags no can, the rest with.  While its  not "hearing safe"   it is noticable quieter.  Like plugs or muffs not  both quieter.   it does change the balance of the gun, not bad with a full mag, but when it was almost empty you really notice it more.    it was just me and the RO, let him put a few mags thru.  He had that look " i need this".  We all know that look :) .   i did not do any rapid fire, but it does get warm.   i will have to bring some sd loads and see how the noise level   compares.  I think a db meter is in my future.  I should brung the crono too to see if there is any change in mv.   over all i am happy, lots of red tape, but not horrible.   if you don't have one, i highly recomend one.

Read your manual VERY carefully before you run anything other than ball through your can. Mine says explicitly and in several places to only run FMJ ammo. Anything else and they will not warranty baffle strikes. YMMV

THe sd stuff is  hot, i was intrested in the sound diffrence when there was a sonic boom.  I could always load some hotter.   I don't have any 45 reloads at this time.   i have every thing to load them, just not the desire too. Been about a year since i went to the range, just too much going on and the move really changed things.  I still don't even have the shed built to store stuff like Phase convert, compressor and yard junk.       3/4ths of my tools are still in the container.  I figure about another year and i will finally get my garage done  lol
