Title: How Bad Of A Hit Did Guns & Ammo Take ??
Post by: billt on January 08, 2014, 02:19:39 PM
Does anyone know how much the readership of Guns & Ammo magazine has dropped since the whole Dick Metcalf incident? I'm wondering because I wrote them a E-Mail voicing my displeasure with the article, and told them I won't be renewing my subscription, which I've had with them for over 40 years.

Without exaggeration my phone has rung every night around dinner time for the last month, (Intermedia Outdoors is displayed on the LCD caller ID screen). I don't answer it. I'm guessing I'm not the only guy experiencing this. Anyone else?

Answer it once and repeat what your letter said, then tell them to stop calling. Thats all it will take, worked for me.

edit to clarify: I never sent a letter, just a cancel/quit subscrption and only answered after several missed calls.

Numbers aren't in that I can find for the time period since Metcalf the Dick committed career suicide.
Early '13, (1st half) numbers showed a pretty good increase compared to other print media.
I bet that changes!
I don't think the '14 numbers will be known till June or July.
