Along with this letter is a Victims Request For Involvement where I can be notified concerning plea agreements and consequences, give a Victim Impact Statement, and I have the opportunity to give input on punishment.  The third page is for me to write my Victim Impact Statement, and it can be read at sentencing or just used in determining sentence.

Wish I had gotten that choice!  Had a 15 year old neighbor break in my place a number of years ago.....a career criminal @ 15!  Judge let the mother take him out to go to Florida between Christmas and New Year and I didn't even know it.  Was never asked if I had gotten all my stuff back either.

PS:  Here in Ohio if someone steals your car you are or were responsible for damage done!  Goofy laws!
