Only been shooting pistols for about 2 years now. Had my first squib round last night while shooting my Beretta 22 Neos 7 1/2 inch barrel. Had some minor blow back and got hit with small particles. Luckiy for eye protection, nothing was hurt but my ego. Cleared chamber and inspected neos and saw the round was lodged near the end of the barrel. Well, I took advice of veteran shooters I consulted and bought a wood dowl and pounded it with a rubber mallet and all I did was break the wood dowl. I then decided to use my cleaning rod and hit the handle end. Took a couple hits and I could feel it move. Took a couple more and it came out. Inspected and cleaned everything. Neos seems to be in fine shape like nothing happened. Am going to go test it out shortly. Wish me luck.

Good luck. You should be all right.

Sorry to hear about that, glad your not injured, I too have had a squib in a new Sig 556 rifle, the problem was I didn't catch it, and fired another round which cracked the end of the barrel. :'( Post on Tactical thread,...) and chunked both rounds out.
Sig made it good for $100.00 (not warranty) :'(
If the Neos is good inside and out, you should be fine. Was it new ammo? Old? Top end brand?
Just curious.
Thanks.

Went to range and it is as accurate as ever. Does not seem to be having any problems. Shot 200 rounds approximately. Had some misfires but I think that is unrelated.

Good Deal, those Neos look like something out of Star Wars. but Beretta makes a great pistol regardless.

Very ugly! But they are priced pretty nice.
