As we get ready for the 4th of july lets all say a pray and really think about what FREEDOM means!!!!!!!! Let us not forget the hardships that the men and wemen are going thu to keep us safe and free to do what we wish. PLEASE the next time you see someone in the military say thank you two words that will mean the world to them!! It does not take much to say thank you . For a long time our service men and women have been forgoten , lets not let this happen again.
A marine vet & a greatful american who may not like our goverment but I sure as hell love my county..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to breakfast a week ago Sunday, and a couple walked in with a little girl. The wife was wearing a Citadel t-shirt. Being the chauvinist male pig I am, I asked the guy if he went to the Citadel. He said yes, and his wife chimed in that they met in Charleston - one of my favorite all time cities in the US.
We chatted, turned out he was a unit commander for the Army here. As we said goodbyes - they had a table open up, I turned, said thanks for your service and shook his hand. I think he was pleasantly surprised, said thanks, and there we parted.
I try to do the same with all in uniform, at the airport or working a Toys for Tots table.

GOD bless our troops. DAMN those who twist our constitution, and use our people for their own purpose.
