This was my first NRA convention (mainly because it was close) but it definetly won't be my last. One thing I really noticed was how nice everyone was. Not just the vendors but all the members too. I was just there on Fri. but it was packed and I can't count how many times someone would bump into me or vise versa and always there was a "excuse me, Sorry about that, pardon me.". Many time I would end up having a conversation with the person about what we were looking at. The only time that I had a problem was at the Detonics booth. I wanted to get a good look at everything that I had heard about them from M.B. Well it was busy in front of their table but there was two guys just talking away and wouldn't move. Finally I reached around one of them and got one of their pamplets. As I did I looked down and saw one of the guys had a yellow bag hanging from his shoulder. Then I noticed the bag had a Shooting Gallery logo on it. Then I started to pay attention to what the guys were saying and low and behold it was our leader MB himself.LOL. I was the guy in the NRA shirt Michael, just incase you were wondering.
Anyway. If you ever get a chance to go to one of these, make the effort to go. You will not be disapointed. Just watch out for the yellow bag guy.

I second that everyone was very nice. I got in late Friday night and it was really packed Saturday I could not even get in to the S&W booth but Sunday was not crowded at all.
My problem was I had hoped to go and fine the right AR-15 to buy before GW is out of office and every company there seemed to make AR-15s and they were all the best ones just ask the salemen. So going in I just needed to make a decision between a Colt, a BushMaster and a Rock River. Now I have to research Stag (which had the best salesman), SIG, S&W, Armlite, and Olimpic as well as the first 3.
Oh and next year I am going for all three days!
