It's remarkable that we have 4 Supreme Court justices that today broke their oath to "defend and uphold the Constitution of the United States". If not for one justice, the vote would have essentially been to abolish the Second Amendment. It is truly scary that our Constitution came so close to being permanently defaced.

Head shot!

History moves at it's own pace. In another year there may have been a vastly different disposition by the Supreme Court.

As I said on another thread, I need more time to read and follow this ruling. However, one giant red flag that went up on the dicent side was a focus on the individual State's right to govern, regulate, whatever. To me when it comes to the Constitution it is an all or nothing thing, and not preserving the right of different groups to do whatever they want. The Founding Fathers formed this document and it was ratified by the existing States at the time to protect and preserve our Union for many years into the future, and to keep us from reliving the history that brought people from several nations to form this one.

We can always take a page out of the lib's playbook and go back to the 14th amendment, and see if we have equal rights across the states. Now that the 2nd is confirmed (sort of) we can see if any of the others matter, especially the 14th. Especially since it is in use by gays and just about every other "victim" group for "rights" not even referenced by "nuance"
The gun grabbers have overused that word "nuanced" already in less than a day after the ruling.
