Title: Michael Bane I owe you a big thanks
Post by: Dakotaranger on June 27, 2008, 12:00:34 AM: While the thanks comes mainly because of an episode of Shooting Gallery that dealt with selfdefense against a knife attack.

It had been a while since I had a self-defense class and it was a good refresher and reminder on defending against an attack. This past weekend I had a friend that tried to commit suicide several times. I spent about two hours keeping and taking knives away from her until I could get help to arrive. Thanks to the show and your commitment of bringing the very best information to your viewers she made it through the weekend. It still may be a long road to get her back to normal, but because of you she is still alive. Thank you

Darn few things if any make it worth giving up on sunrises / sunsets and the other things in life, but sometimes the view is differant from INSIDE our problems. She's lucky to have a freind like you.
