I asked Haz about this the other day in the Chat Room, but he wasn't sure.......
So here is a very nice run down on the differences between the Gen 1 &. Gen 2 complete with detailed pictures:

2nd Gen on left. 1st Gen on the right.
---------->Who would of thunk that I could find all this on the Kel Tec Forum?? ;D

1st Gen on left. 2nd Gen on the right.
You have your left and right mixed up...atleast that's the way I read that link.

Yep, 2nd gen is on the left.

Thanks, I e-mailed KT 3 days ago and have not received an answer. Good to know.

Uhh? The one on top is currently being sold as new. 2ND gen I assume. Are we all together? BTW, a nice little .380.

I love my P3AT with Speer or Corbon, these guns like to be kept clean, and a "fluff and buff" of the slide, inside the trigger guard, (thanks Haz!), mag extensions, good lube, and these things work great.
Sights are crude but effective, as the gun wasn't designed for shots longer than a standard mousegun. It is great here in summer NC, and am glad to have it.

P.S. I liked the blue! ;D

Yes, the second generation has the improved external screw and extractor spring.
The first generation looks like an LCP.
