I recall a thread here that I cannot locate regarding the position of the ASPCA on gun rights. Can anyone advise if there is an Anti-2A policy they follow? It would prevent me from donating. Thanks, Mac.

I will do some looking Mac. I am sure they are anti-hunting, and I think they have more than a slight anti-gun stance. I recall a mailing I received from them concerning donations, and it was clear that they were anti-hunting, and anti-hunting dogs. The anti-gun is from memory, and since I am also a hunter and love my hunting dogs I've not dug any deeper in quite a while. If I find something I'll post it.

I know that Humane Society of the US is Basically a PETA front organization but they are NOT connected with your local Humane society in any way, just using the name to confuse people into thinking they are. As to the ASPCA itself I don't know.

All I know is if I could do it, I'd take every one of those dogs and cats home. It's not their fault. But if the ASPCA wants my support, they have to support us as well. Let me know, Tom. I'll keep looking as well. Maybe the Humane Society is what I recall. There are more animals coming in that were left behind after foreclosures.
M58, anti-hunting is Anti-American. Nobody forces anyone to hunt. Let me know what else you may find as well.
Thanks, Mac.
