Title: Worst Speaker of House in History Labels Bush a Failure.
Post by: Teresa Heilevang on July 19, 2008, 01:29:02 PM
Legislators fear for their lives, simply because they come to work.  Some have been assassinated by car bombs, others by gunfire, while simply going out among their constituents.  During their legislative meetings there is always the (increasingly) slight risk of a mortar attack or a suicide bomber.  And yet a fractious Iraqi Parliament just learning democracy has still accomplished far more than the U.S. House of Representatives under Nancy Pelosi.

Her horrid leadership has managed to drag Congress to the lowest approval ratings in history.  Pelosi's Congress is polling nine points lower than Nixon's just ten days before he resigned.

So Nancy... dear... I think you might have a wee bit of a projection issue going on.  Boy do you SUCK!.....

We Californians, who happen to be right, can't seem to make any headway on trying to get our candidates elected. There's this Petaluma mentality that mesmerizes the lemmings. I'm really quite ashamed of our state and have been discussing with my wife how our futures probably are in the real America, instead of Kalifornia. Maybe if all of us who have any sense leave, the criminals can take over, so that the Petalumians will have to beg for us to come back and restore order.

Isn't this just the "pot calling the kettle black" moment to end them all or what?

I don't want to Assinate anyone. It's really all the electorate. Besides, there's always another Petalumian to take the place of the last. They're like weeds. We have Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer… Wow, aren't those all really the same person?! I thought cloning humans was illegal in America. If Hillary had a darker dye job, I'd think that she was from the same batch. Aren't there usually like a dozen in a batch, like the Boys From Brazil?

By the way, I think I may have been abducted by Petalumians at one time. I could tell after California's budget proposals, because I felt like I got probed.

The news that Al Qaeda in Iraq has been soundly beaten and is on the verge of annihilation, was met with worries and a quick call to action on Capitol Hill today.  In an attempt to salvage some semblance of victory for the embattled fighters, Congressional Democrats voted early Thursday to approve funding that would provide desperately needed supplies for the group.

“There is no question but that they are in a bad way,” said Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.  “What began as a glorious campaign against the American occupiers, has taken a turn for the worse.  These culturally equal individuals have been shot at, had missiles fired at them, and been made to miss at least one of their five daily prayers on several occasions.  What’s more, our polling data shows that a full 100% of them are living below the poverty line!  If it weren’t for that fact that many of them have dual citizenship between their home countries and Holland, they wouldn’t even be receiving welfare payments or free health care. But I have sponsored legislation that will go a long way towards turning the tide back in favor of these brave freedom fighters.”

Pelosi’s bill calls for two battalions of Code Pink protesters to be sent to Iraq immediately.  They will be deployed at key positions to block advancing U.S. Marines.

“We were toying with the idea of using the Code Pinkers against the Iraqi forces as well, but it turns out that they are even less enlightened than our own barbaric military personnel,” Pelosi said.  “During one of the ladies’ patented ‘Breasts Not Bombs‘ rallies in Fallujah recently, the Iraqi commander ordered them at gunpoint to put their shirts back on while his men screamed and covered their eyes. ”

These elite protest battalions will bring with them a host of sorely needed supplies including:   clean placards, new magic markers, and sturdy wood slats for making state-of-the art anti-American-miliary signs;  teddy bears, dolls;  and blood-splattered rubble for use in AP photographs depicting the barbarity of U.S. troops; the direct number for the head of the ACLU;  several cases of Goat Fancy magazine

"Goat Fancy" magaizne?!?  That's a good one!  Hope they make sure not to name their teddy bears "Mohammad"!

Interesting to note that in Pelosi’s district, a lot of the folks there think she has become too conservative since she has been in the House.

I spent my first 32 years on this planet in Southern Kalifornia.  It was a great place to be in the late 60’s and through the early 80’s.  But as a Dylan melody dances by, those times had been a change'n.  In Kali, the political and economic “climate” changed over time but it took leaps and bounds under Gov. Moonbeam Brown.  Add the influence of ultra liberal educators along with the inane effect of celebrities and over time the electorate has had second’s on the Kool-Aid.

While many of the electorate believes the liberal punch line, there is a good chunk of the electorate that is too busy to care much less to complain about it.   The toxic beverage that Kali is serving up is topped with a strong shot of apathy and it’s been in the blender for years … and it’s starting to be served up into other states.  To this, it’s easy to discount “Kalifornians” but the key learning point here is that their version of extreme liberalism has become fashionable in other zip codes.  This is why it is important for those in Kali to stand up for what they believe in and help stop the spillage.

Time to stand up and take California back.
