Once again I see news stories about the greed of the federal government demanding tax on any income made outside our boarders.

In many cases people are renouncing citizenship due to this when it is the Federal Government they want to reject not the nation of their birth.
The last story I read was about an American married to a very successful Canadian woman and living with her in Canada, the feds want a large cut of her income.

Maine several years ago tried to collect State income tax from the spouses of workers at the Portsmouth Navy Yard.
It went to court.
They lost.
