Have you served and wondered what happened to your friends? When I got into the chat room last night the others were talking about a web site that you can go to and maybe find them and chat there. At least that is what I got from the end of the conversation. It covers the Navy, Air Force, Marines and the Army and I sure they are setting up something for the Coast Guard soon. the site is www.togetherweserved.com

you can also go to military .com and do the buddyfinder. I keep up with my guys on a unit site there also.

I have been a memeber of the Navy side for a while and the site's forums are as good as the ones here for getting answers to questions or just talking with others. You get a wide range of responses from those long retired/seperated to those currently in. The site IS restricted to current/former military members though there are family and public pages.

Always the skeptic, I must ask
WHO are these people,
WHERE did they get (for example 374,000 Navy Profiles),
WHY should I trust them with my information especially since they run a
"lobster trap" registration process
(to get to page 2 you MUST fill out page 1, to get to page 3, you
must fill out page 2, by the time you get finished there is some kind of wacko Microsoft End User License Agreement that basically says they can do anything they want with YOUR information, but you are subject to any restrictions and conditions they can invent.)
Just saying.

Of couse there are those who are skeptic, but if I am correct it was first set up by the Marines and if you can't trust a Marine, well nuf said.

Just as a after thought, I posted this because I try to , as much as my merger little self can, for those willing to serve this great nation of ours and give so much of ther selfs and get so little in return, recently I had sent some cards (about 300 decks) over seas and since then I have persuaded the higher ups to send a steady supply on a regular basis. Thank you Marines, Sailors,Airmen Soldiers and members of the Coast Guard.
