Don't know if anyone has posted this link, but, if so, here it is again.
Note that there is a link to the page from which the maps at this link were derived.

Looks like we need to regulate or eliminate knives and clubs for whites out there.
You do realize that if there were no knives or baseball bats only a couple of whites would have killed or been killed ;)

Factor One: Many of these aren't "gun deaths" at all, they are "war deaths."
It's the endless fruitlesss government-run War On Some Drugs.
It's a declared war. Combatants in the war are killing each other.
I have long struggled to understand the drug war being waged in America for the last century. I believe that the majority of those in prison relate to "drug crimes" one way or the other. Something like 30-40% of American Blacks see the inside of prisons. We are slowly destroying ourselves. If black and with a criminal record your life is essentially over. If white you suffer the cost, crime and lowered quality of life related to such a large population of inprisoned citizens. I suggest the war must end.

"Combatants in the war are killing each other"
I have NO problem with the dregs killing off as many of each other as possible.
"I suggest the war must end"
I'm actually an advocate of giving the low lives range time to improve their ability to annihilate themselves quicker.
Final Thought--If you don't want to go to Prison...DON'T commit crimes!!!

I would like to preface the following by saying I am not advocating drug use. However, I believe drugs should be legalized, taxed, and monitored much like alcohol. Why should my tax dollars be used to keep some dumba$$ from overdosing on heroin or cocaine. If thats what he wants, and he stays home instead of endangering those on the streets, that his personal choice and his consequence to bare. We as a society, should not have to foot the bill to house drug related inmates and protect people from themselves. If that is acceptable, whats next? The feds kick in your front door and confiscate your Micky D's because you've got a fat a$$ and that next french fry might cause a heart attack? Legalize it, as the hippies like to say, and watch the crime rates drop and the revenues from taxes skyrocket. Of course, that's just my opinion.

It's a jobs program for cops, lawyers and judges that has not worked in the last 40 years and will not work in the next 40 years because whole govt. agencies would put themselves out of business if they ever DID eliminate drugs.

I agree with Swoop. All that commerce going untaxed...all those knuckleheads making money hand over fist without contributing anything but statistics on violence and crime. MOST crime in the US is drug related...robberies, assaults, murders...take it out of the hands of amatures and let the government tax the stuff. Maybe the rest of us will get a break.

Absolutely right. AND the public demands access to the product.
Prohibition, on a grander scale. As to the loss of taxes on drug dealer's profits, the Fair Tax plan is the simple answer. OOoops, another government-lawyer-accountant industry sacred cow. IRS!
Mac.

Absolutely right Mac, they didn't learn squat from the stupidity that made the 20's roar.
