When I got on line this morning and signed in none of the avatars would show up or the usual ads, Is there any body here that can possibly tell me what the heck is going on. ???

Active X control problem most likely.

Aliens
I think specifically Bigfoot. According to a caller on the George Noory show, Bigfoot is actually an alien and is working for the government. Brings up so many comments I don't know where to start

And when you get tired of the daily(often more frequently) reboots attempting to "fix" Microsofts multitude of OS problems, you can...
get yourself one of These (http://www.apple.com/imac) or if you need portable, one of These (http://www.apple.com/macbookpro) and finally...
have yourself a computer that operates smoothly and securely; whether it be at work or at home.
If you do get one. Post pics. I enjoy Mac porn almost as much as Gun porn.

Good advise, if you can afford one, get one. VISTA hasn't been too bad, of course I use Firefox, Thunderbird, and Open Office. Thing is, I could get a laptop with VISTA for $400.00 with a printer and router. Can't do that with a Mac.
I owned Macs from the days of the Plus and SE, always loved them, never had a problem, just couldn't afford a new one.

All good ansewrs and thank you, let's see where did I put that foil hat and suit? and what the heck is Active X Control?
-
Gman,
Google Active X. It is a progam that allows pictures and such to run on your system. It is a free download. Just make sure you get the correct one for your OS.

Don't forget you have to rotate your foil every lunar cycle, as the Active X aliens can breech the old foil and continue their mind beams. ;D ;) 8) ::) :P

I think it was aliens too. But if you want a 'puter that has 20 times more programs written for it than Mac, stick with Windows. I'm not going to argue XP vs. Vista, or 32-bit vs. 64-bit, but I like Vista better. It will ask permission before it installs an ActiveX on any website. Then it will ask you again so you don't accidentally install anything you didn't really want. My PC is turned on almost 24/7 and it downloads all the updates automatically, every day.
