OMFG it has been ages since I last logged in. Let the harassment ensue to make up for the missed time.

Life/biz REALLY got in the way of my online social pursuits.

You are not alone... many of the regular members have cut back on "forum time" over the last year.
Many folks have had a lot going on at the same time and forum traffic has slowed some. I have noticed that a good many regulars still visit, but posting comments has slowed.
I myself have kept up with postings (logging in to stay current), but due to being busy with a wide variety of things from church to family health issues, I have cut way back on commenting.


Anyway, good to see you back, Andy.
(and here's hoping that more folks can get back to posting great discussions)

Things have been very slow here due in most part to Facebook!  People have a difficult time grasping that but it's true.

Good to hear from you Andy, any new input from the Gunsite Ruger Scout Rifle shooters on their fave sling?

Welcome back Andy!

I've been in and out myself.  Fired FB but the interweb made me fat so I spend less time around here.  That and the amount of flotsam now littering the place up (NRA-ILA and bloggers) haven't improved my chances of staying longer.

Be well, sell lots of stuff and enjoy...

I also have summer project...a thirty year old Toro snow blower...

Just got the wood cut and stacked for winter after the upcoming one.  Garden is going very well.  Work is 50+ hours per week plus 10 hours of commute.

The missus had neck surgery, so I'm doing lots more around the house too.

I still check in occasionally.  Just really damned busy!

I suspect that has affected a lot of the traffic through here.

As a side note on the extra boards (NRA-ILA..etc), you can turn them off so you don't get hammered by the large amounts of "unread posts" when you open that section.

Sorry guys & gals.   It's not FB that's the culprit per se.  Partly is I've been snowed under with work and personal chores.  Partly it's because the Tapatalk app always tells me there's NO unread posts.  How can that be when I haven't checked in on the regular computer in a week?  So I've waited until I get "big" computer time to check in and comment. 

Got some posts coming this week.  Comments on Gun Stories, GSSF match Saturday and regional Rock Island Auction auction.

Stand by for news!
