Here's a big pig shot with an AR in 300 AAC last night:
ran about 30yds downhill after a good shoulder shot at 60yds.
I'll try to find the 125 gr. Ballistic tip bullet after a while, I'm interested to see how it acted.

I commend your public spirit in the elimination of this horribly destructive pest!
Hope it tastes good too!

Skin, gut and quarter. Toss it in a cooler with a bunch of ice. Pour one cup of vinegar (I use apple cider type) over it. next day drain any melt water, add ice if necessary and another cup of vinegar, Do this tree times.
Kills the wild taste and helps tenderize.

Sadly I didn't find him for about 9 hours over a 70+ degree night so he's not for the pot but I did take one of his sons a week before and there's another one around somewhere....eating ALL my deer feed!
That big guy ate 3/4 of a deer block the evening that I shot him.
