Title: Anyone familiar with the Citadel 9mm carbine?
Post by: BAC on September 09, 2014, 01:15:28 PM
I have questions that I can't find answers to on the internet.

1.  Does the bolt lock open on an empty magazine?

2.  Is it really the same dimensions as the military M1 Carbine, and can aftermarket stocks be used with it?  I'm thinking one of these with a scout scope mount and paratrooper stock would make a great little car gun or home defense carbine.

3.  When are they going to offer a .40 caliber version that takes Glock 22 magazines?  'Cause that's what I have.

Fondled one at SHOT this year, and I *really* like it. I have some answers.

1.  Does the bolt lock open on an empty magazine?

Ok, that one I don't have an answer to.

2.  Is it really the same dimensions as the military M1 Carbine, and can aftermarket stocks be used with it?  I'm thinking one of these with a scout scope mount and paratrooper stock would make a great little car gun or home defense carbine.

Yes, I specifically asked about this, and aftermarket stocks WILL work.

3.  When are they going to offer a .40 caliber version that takes Glock 22 magazines?  'Cause that's what I have.

Dunno. Maybe SHOT next year?

If it runs, I'd like one too!
