Title: Wash. Felony Protest said to be effective.
Post by: Solus on December 22, 2014, 06:50:53 PM
I think TomB might like this one.

They are saying protesting and openly violating the law worked to nullify i594 in Wash. St.

Looks like you better be sure that the local peace officers will not enforce the law.

Yes, I DO like it.
It pretty much proves my point that if you tolerate it you deserve it.

More and more local Peace Officers are declining to enforce onerous anti-gun laws, even in Connecticut and Maryland.

What the plan needs to be everywhere is that if your local Peace Offers are supportive, get out and do a similar protest.

No endangerment, no outrageous behavior..just a gathering, maybe a cook out..and do whatever is erroneously illegal to do without endangering folks.  CC without license, open carry where prohibited, passing guns around, maybe a gun swap meet..

We don't know how effective the Wash. protest will be, but it seems to be making a point.

They mention in the story that no national Gun Rights group supported them...and no local groups either...and maybe that is a good thing.

For sure about the national groups....no need to give the media that target and cause...make it the grass roots local folks...even local organizations might detract from the success of the protest.
