I'm not gonna get quite as wound up as early as in years past, but Ted Cruz has been my pick for a couple of years now. Rick Perry need not apply, (but I know he will).
I know it's early, but Cruz is announcing today. Thought I'd make my choice known now..

Cruz is great, but the Dems will attack him for being born in Canada. He would not be the first since Chester Arthur was as well

And of course we can always turn their own argument back on them and say they're only saying that because he's white and they are racist.

I'll bet Cruz will provide an authentic Birth Certificate showing where he was born.

I asked rhetorically - on a liberal forum - if we now could now accuse liberals of being so dumb they don't understand the definition of "native born citizen". :)

Even some conservatives don't get it.
I saw some idiot post on FaceBook that you should have to be born within the US.
Asshat didn't realize that would have disqualified the first 7 Presidents, all of whom were born in England or it's colonies.

Is it gonna even be possible to have a reasoned conversation, on "our" :-X side this time, at all??

Seems pretty clear to me!
"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."
