I promised myself when I joined this forum to stay on track with only firearm related topics. But what happened yesterday really sucks. My son and daughter were raised with firearms but only my son took an interest in it. At the tender age of 26 he hasn't shot a round in the last 6 years. Offer has always been on the table for him to go to the range with me .Free ammo/lunch/gas/ pickup service/ doesn't have to clean any firearm he shoots. No takers. Ok! I can wait. I met his wife to be yesterday. When I tried to find common interest with her. She said point blank without me asking she will never fire a gun doesn't like them bla, bla, bla. Ok :( I can live with that. Later in the day my daughter comes over with her soon to be husband. I now start the same conversation with him. Anytime you want to go to the range let me know. Free ammo/lunch/gas/ pickup service and you don't have too clean any firearm you shoot. Nope doesn't shoot, doesn't care too bla,, bla, bla. Ok! I can live with that. But what I can't take is the same old anti story line coming from family or soon to be family. What the hell did I do wrong ??? Sorry to rant ;D but at least I have all of you to converse on the one thing that really gives me joy. To reload/ get a new firearm/ go to the range. Hell I'll even buy myself lunch. But I can't seem to find anyone to clean my guns ;)

Yeah, that sucks, too bad. I look at my 2 boys and wonder the same thing. They both shoot, but each has their own set of issues.
Cut across MN, we'll hang for a day and shoot, good range SW of Fargo about 10 miles, another 10 miles west of me in Casselton.
Nice bar/restaurant at the south end of town here too. You can rant all you want, but I won't clean your guns. Well, OK, maybe 1 or 2.
