I gave you a yes vote.   Someone may prove me wrong, but it is my opinion that if an individual choses to contribute to organizations for the cause, any help is better than no help.  I donate a bit to several each year.  There is always a downside to donations. The SAF, NRA, and groups like them will always run into management issues, and potential missuse of funds (review the Wounded Warrior Foundation and Red Cross from the last several years). The best donation is your own personal time and public education. Win over more hearts and minds with calm clear headed debate, and try to find people you might be willing to introduce to the shooting sports.

Absolutely !!
NRA refused to participate in either the Heller or McDonald decisions, they also had nothing to do with making San Francisco back down on their ban on guns in public housing.
THOSE WERE ALL SAF !!
NRA takes the heat,  makes the head headlines, and works the Congress where public opinion is the issue.
Kind of like Martin Luther King.
The SAF fights in the courts working on changing the LAW like Thurgood Marshal.
SAF has also absorbed, bought, some how teamed with Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership.
When you donate to NRA you are supporting Rights, PLUS training, museums etc.
SAF is a single focus group.
When you donate to SAF you are strictly fighting the anti's.

If you look at the court fights SAF has won or participated in, their legitimacy won't be at issue.  They are the good guys.

They may seem shaky on the surface, but only because they are not quite as high profile as the NRA....but that is because they are more focused behind the scenes, fighting in the trenches and courtrooms.

YES. They are in the courts fighting on many different fronts.

At least I don't get inundated with mail, emails and the constant barrage of flotsam that the NRA sends out.  I'd guess they've spent the Life Membership monies I gave them on postage to my house over the last ten years.
