Title: USPS - Airmail???

I was listening to information on the "helicopter" that landed on the National Capitol grounds.  As I followed it this evening I see that it was a gyrocopter.  Now I ask a questioned raised by the identification on the craft:  Why does the USPS need and/or use a gyrocopter?

I think it was a USPS employee using his own personal aircraft, not acting in any official capacity.

His alibi for the Secret Service was "Could you sign for this"  ;D
