Saw this on the seat back on my recent flight to Europe.

Gilet is French for a sleeveless vest or waistcoat.

SAUVEtage means a life saver, emphasis on my name.

So a Gilet de sauvetage is a life vest.  If you fly Air France look at the back of the seat and think of me.

(My GOD! Are you in trouble, if you even think about flying Air France.        The coffee is terrible.  Nescafe instant!)

So what do you think Gilet Pareballes is?   Pronounce it Jela Pair o Balls.

Bullet proof vest of course.    Tell me the French don't have a sense of humor.
