Title: How could I say no?
Post by: Majer on June 25, 2015, 09:12:17 PM
went to the local Gander Mountain to see what they had for a new (for me) carry gun and came across a Kahr K-9 9m.m. in brushed stainless, looked to be a police trade in.Got it for $499.00 plus tax. Can't wait to take it to the range

no pictures but it looks like this...

Nice find. I've never owned a Kahr but always admired them.

If it has any kind of mild scratches in the finish, hit it with this while your watching TV. It will come out looking like a mirror.

BRUSHED stainless just hit it with Scotchbrite to blend scratches.

Made not far from where I work and live.

Never even held one but their reviews by others have always been good.  MB swears by his compact as I recall.  Mentioned in a podcast a week or so back.

Enjoy...

Got a call from a friends father asking me to bring my Hi-Power to his club so he could try it out,I asked if it was ok to bring the Kahr,He said sure,So I got to shoot it,I shot about 100 rounds of ball then tried some 115gr +P JHP which it loved,Got a nice small group with it,just a little low and right. That might be me needing to get used to the trigger,All in all I was pleased with my new pistol.
