Title: CZ 75 Pistol and variants/clones
Post by: djk5279 on July 06, 2015, 08:25:16 AM: Michael, please, please, please, plan a future episode of Gun Stories around the CZ 75 and it's variants/clones. You know how popular, influential and widely used they are in the US and the world. Also I can't remember id Shooting Gallery has ever been to the Czech Republic or CZ-USA for an episode but the would be awesome as well. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Back in the olden days when I travelled ALOT, the CZ75 was the easiest to pick up anywhere on the grey market.

How's that for a "variant"???

BTW, I do dearly love this pistol, great double-stack AND it fits my hands. Feels like a Sig, and when I pick it up and sight it, it just fits my hand perfectly. Sadly, I'm in the process of selling it as it has become something of a safe queen and I am trying (in these trying times) to standardize on just 3-4 calibers.

My Witness P compact is like that.
I haven't tried CZ mags in it.
I would like to get a red dot for it but I'm not sure if there is enough meat in the slide to still stand up to 10mm.
