Title: Chattanooga shootings
Post by: alfsauve on July 17, 2015, 01:56:52 PM
Looking for something to do?

I had this thought, but had to go to work.

Hiram, GA is just in the next county west of me.

HIRAM, Ga. -
The morning after a deadly attack on two military centers in Chattanooga, residents in Hiram are standing watch outside the local recruiting office with their personal firearms. It is their unique way of honoring the fallen Marines and they said to protect the lives of those who serve in the military.

It also spotlights the situation where those in the Armed Services are ordered to be defenseless and it requires armed citizens to provide security.

The SOFREP guys have a good article to read.  As the article references, this thing is a hydra.  Cut off one head two more appear....and a good reason to stop Muslim immigration into the US.

As a former LEO, I see "gun free zones" as target rich environments. Why trained  and experienced people(read, military) cannot carry a weapon while on duty seems idiotic. Given the threat level towards our service people, even while in garrison, I cannot fathom the policy.
