Kay Miculek? Go figure on the 1.9... ::)

All I can say is God Bless their parents! That deserves the Supreme "Atta Boy" . I'm very impressed. Thank you to them for continuing a future that is bright, and like any child, nourish their pursuits. Train them well, and Turn Them Loose!

Kudos to the shooters and their parents,....

And Thank You Squibby, made my day. ;)

Very nice report.  No wise cracks by the talking heads and the on scene reporter even gave it a try and explained how much skill it took.

The wife and I were going to shoot the local Steel Match and I kept telling her she'd do fine.  She heard the reporter say that, "You could run a mile faster than I shot it." and laughed "He'd probably beat me!"   We didn't get a chance to go, to much going on, not enough cash.

The ABC news crew stayed at the range for about 3 1/2 hours.  HUGE THANKS TO Paul Erhardt (formerly of NSSF & SigArms) and Dave Thomas of USPSA for the press releases!!!

The squad we were in had five junior shooters (all gals)...they all did GREAT and seemed to have lots of fun!  It was wonderful to see the variety of skill level of the group- all the way up to Master Class caliber of Jim O'Young and Kay Clark-Miculek...KAY WAS SMOKE'N!

When I saw this on the news, I had to rewind the DVR out of disbelief. I couldn't believe there were no complaints by the anchors about children with guns. If it had been NBC, it may have been reported differently, but being that ABC is Disney, I expected an anti spin too.

Thanks for the post Squibby. It's is refreshing to see something positive about firearms on tv.
