I have cited this case in several gun control debates, and the anti's go, say, ... crickets.  In many times I have received absolutely no comment on it.  How will Universal Background Checks work with this type of criminal and criminal justice system?

 He's black.
Affirmative Action prevents us from holding blacks to the same standards as humans.
Besides, he want's to be a rapper, that's important to society you know.

Among gun control advocates, only the Giffords are concerned about enforcing our current laws.  IMHO, the others are concerned that if current laws were to be enforced they just might work - reducing the demand for the new laws they want to pass.

Here's some "facts" ad questions about gun control.
Fact #1 The concept of "municipal police" was invented by the Romans, The Vigiles, in order to cut down the out of control epidemic of murder and robbery occurring in the city 1000 before the invention of gun powder.
Fact #2 Tombstone, Deadwood, and the rest of the "Wild West" where every one was armed always, did not see as many shootings as the gun control show places of Chicago, Baltimore, and DC. For that matter neither did Belfast or Baghdad.
QUESTION #1  Of restrictions on firearms are going to make a difference, how come restrictions on murder and assault did not ?
QUESTION #2 Highly restrictive Chicago blames it's failure on neighboring cities and states with less restrictive laws. If this is true why is the violence all in Chicago and not the communities where the gun stores are actually located ?
That will do for now since it's early, but I will add George Washington fid not debate the British about gun confiscation, he shot the motherf#ckers, and any modern American with a spine will do the same.
